Upside Software (formerly iBillz.com Inc.) was my first commercial project. This company is an electronic billing company that is heavily integrated within the IT field. When designing the interior for this office, I had to keep in mind the need for proper space allocation to accommodate for computer workstations as well as tables for brainstorming sessions and meetings.

The company colors are blue and red therefore I incorporated these colors into the entire office. For the walls, I used light blue and selected a jean blue for the doors and doorframes. For the carpet I chose a tight weave in a shade that balanced the walls and doorframes. The cherry oak furniture added a subtle hint of red tones into the environment.

In order to add a bit of depth to the walls, I was able to find a painter to blend the company colors together to produce a marbled effect. I had originally planned on using this effect for the reception area alone, however, after seeing the added depth of a feature wall, I asked the painter to recreate the same effect for one wall in each office.
