This design was for a 489 square foot studio apartment that I rented while attending university. The small size of this apartment is typical for that of an apartment situated in downtown Vancouver, BC.

As a result of the lack of space to work with, special consideration needed to be made for furnishings and placement of those furnishings. A fold up Murphy bed, a futon, as well as foldable chairs all aided in maximizing the available space.
