Whilst working at Linens N Things, I had the opportunity to put together several bedding displays. Linens N Things has guidelines set in place to which all displays need to adhere to. Some of the requirements include having at least 6 pillows on each bed, arranging the pillows from largest to smallest, folding down the comforter/duvet in a certain way and showcasing two bedskirts.

Although it was important to adhere to these guidelines, I was given complete creative license when it came selecting which pieces within the product line I would showcase and what combination of pillow types I would incorporate. I loved creating these displays and did my best to keep each display unique by changing the products I used, varying the window treatment or differentiating some other element of the display.

I was also required to complete a 4-hour window treatment training course which familiarized me with important concepts such as terminology, treatment techniques, guidelines and other related concepts. After completing the course I had the foundation required to skillfully put together window treatments that accented the various bedding patterns in addition to showcasing products from our window department as well.

The product displays I put together required a great deal of thought and creativity. Many of the displays I completed proved to increase sales and product awareness.
